On June 4, 2026, ARWA Community Development Center, in partnership with the NYC Civic Engagement Commission (CEC), hosted a community workshop on Voting Rights and Language Access at the YMCA, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM.

The gathering — a day for women, for health, and for your rights — brought community members together to learn about their voting rights and the language-access services available to them, part of ARWA’s Civic Engagement & Community Education programs (ESL – GED – Know Your Rights workshops).
